I have been wanting to draw for a while, and started this drawing, and wanted to not go to sleep until i was ready to publish it. This guy started off as a young childlike figure, but then I started drawing a little muscle definition, and added way more detail than i originally intended. I went on a hike today, and saw some manzanita trees, with red dark shiny bark, well, maybe satiny anyways. I liked them and figured I might integrate one into the landscape, although otherwise desolate.
This guy represents my sore legs fading away from the hike in Black Diamond Mines today, and standing up at the computer for five hours off and on, with a sandwich break. Now that it is all done enough, I feel thirsty.
